Every donation, be it your time, new clothing, toys, or monetary, goes to the children and all stays within Merrimack County. You can rest assured as to where your gifts are going. Because of our growth, we are constantly in need of volunteers. This is a wonderful way to give back to your community, and believe me when I tell you that the joy and relief you provide will be returned to you tenfold!

Who are the members of The Teddy Bear Fund?
The Teddy Bear Fund is a totally non-profit organization whose goal is to provide new clothing and toys for the children of underprivileged families in the County of Merrimack. We are an all- volunteer group and are incorporated within the State of NH and filed with the Federal IRS.
We consist of a Board of Directors, an Executive Director, an ever-expanding group of Associate Members and a newly formed Student Board. We work with other service organizations, such as “The Community Bridges Program,” “Partners in Health,” “NH Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence,” Merrimack County Day Care Centers, as well as the many homeless shelters and State Social Service Agencies within our target area. We also provide for individual cases that we are made aware of. It is in this way that we have been able to act as a safety net for kids who might, otherwise, have fallen through the cracks in the system.

What is The Teddy Bear Fund's Mission?
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with our organization, please allow me to tell you a bit about us – what our mission is and how we go about accomplishing it. The Teddy Bear Fund is a totally non-profit organization whose goal is to provide new clothing and toys for the children of underprivileged families in the County of Merrimack We are an all- volunteer group and are incorporated within the State of NH and filed with the Federal IRS.
Unlike many other organizations, we provide our services year round, not just during the Holidays. Therefore, we are constantly in demand. Our funding is provided in the following ways: personal donations, business donations, and fundraising sales and activities. Our calendar is filling quickly, but there is always more need. The year 2004, our first year in existence, was quite an eye-opener for us. The demand for our kind of assistance was far greater than even we had ever imagined and it has more than doubled each year.
